Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data we collect when you visit PixelForm Example, buy from us or contact us, why we need it and what your rights are.

2. Visiting this website

When you open this website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is needed to deliver the website securely and is deleted after a short time. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Cookies and local storage

We use technically necessary storage so the shop works: your shopping cart and shipping country are saved in your own browser (local storage), and a small cookie remembers your cookie choice. Optional cookies are only used if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. The products you recently looked at are also remembered in your browser only, and products you save to your wishlist are kept in a small cookie in your browser. Our fonts are served from our own server, not from Google.

4. Orders and payments

When you place an order we process your name, email address, shipping address, phone number and the items you ordered, so that we can fulfil the contract and ship your order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland / Stripe, Inc., USA). Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us. See stripe.com/privacy.

We keep order and invoice data for as long as tax and commercial law requires (usually 6–10 years).

5. Contact and custom order requests

If you send us a message or a request through a form or by email, we use your name, email address, country and message only to answer you and, if you wish, to prepare an order (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete these messages when they are no longer needed, unless they became an order.

Reviews. If you write a product review, your first name, rating and text are published after we check them. Your email address is never shown; we only use it to see whether you bought the product ("Verified buyer").

Back-in-stock emails. If you ask to be told when a sold-out product is available again, we store your email address for that product and send you one email. After that it is not used again.

Cart reminder. If you tick "Email me my cart if I don't finish checkout" and leave the payment page without paying, we send you one email with your cart and a link to finish your order, using the email address you entered on the payment page. Nothing else is sent.

6. Emails

We send order confirmations, shipping updates and, after delivery, one request to review your order by email. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we send it until you unsubscribe. These emails are delivered through our email service provider, which processes your email address on our behalf.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. To use your rights, just email us at hello@pixelform.example.
